Sometimes a signing offer doesn’t fit your schedule, location, or preferences, and you may need to decline or request a counter offer. When that happens, you’ll be prompted to include a reason directly in the offer card in the Jot™ platform. This helps our team understand your decision and respond more quickly and accurately.
To add a reason to your offer response:
- Open the offer card in the Jot™ platform
If you need to decline the offer:
- Select ”Decline”
- Choose a reason from the list or enter your own in the provided field
If you want to submit a counter offer:
- Select ”Counter”
- Enter your proposed amount or time, and include your reason in the comments field
Providing a reason helps our team better understand your decision, reassign orders quickly, and ensure your counter offers are considered with full context. So whether you're declining or countering due to timing, location, offer amount, or other factors, be sure to include your reason in the response.
