If you're not certain you can complete the signing at the scheduled time, it's best not to accept the offer. Signings often involve time-sensitive tasks, such as scanbacks, which must be submitted within four hours of the appointment. Accepting an order you can't fulfill may cause delays and impact the signing experience.
Please do not accept an order with the intention of rescheduling with the signer.
If you’ve already accepted an offer and realize you’re unavailable, please forfeit the order as soon as possible through the Jot™ platform. If you're unable to forfeit it yourself, contact Jot Support at hello@signwithjot.com so we can reassign it to another notary.
Once you accept a signing, you are solely responsible for completing it. You cannot transfer the order or have another notary attend the signing unless our team has officially reassigned it.
