We understand things may come up that require you to cancel a scheduled appointment. If your signing is more than 24 hours away, you can cancel directly within the Jot™ platform. If your appointment is less than 24 hours away, please call 1-866-568-0363, and our internal teams will reassign your appointment.
Here's how to forfeit a scheduled appointment:
1. Locate the signing you would like to cancel in your notary dashboard.
2. From your notary dashboard or after clicking into the signing details, click the three dots in the top right-hand corner.
3. Click the button that reads "Forfeit Signing."
4. Click the button that reads "Forfeit" to confirm you'd like to cancel the signing.
5. If your signing is scheduled to take place within 24 hours, you will be directed to call the escrow officer directly.
